About Me
Hello, my name is Priya!
I am a third-year B.Ed. Student at the University of Victoria, looking to pursue a career in Elementary teaching, and eventually a career in school administration. My hometown is Vancouver, B.C. and I like to spend my summers there working with kids and running summer day camps. While I’m in Victoria I am a student, tutor and a working animal enthusiast at a local pet store. As a person, I consider myself to be a strong, passionate individual who loves to laugh and smile. I pride myself on my leadership qualities and passion for helping others and standing up to injustices in the community and on the global scale. Outside of my career aspirations, I love attending concerts, going to the beach, watching reality TV, being around animals or in nature and spending my time with good people and eating good food (of course)!
This blog is primarily for documentation of my class assignments and progress as a teacher candidate. I hope others can relate or feel inspired by the work and perspectives I share and post.
